Early Childhood Developmental Screening

From birth to age 5, a child’s brain develops faster than at any other time in life. Screening is a quick check to make sure a child is developing on schedule.

What is Early Childhood Developmental Screening?

Screening is a way to make sure a child is developing on schedule and can help identify your child’s strengths as well as any areas where your child may need more support. Screening should occur at 9 months, 18 months and again at 24 months of age.

How do I screen my child?

As a parent or caregiver, you are the best source of information about your child. That is why the online screening questionnaires are designed to be filled out by you. You will only need 10-15 minutes to complete the screening online.

How to I find out the results of the screening?

By completing the screening questionnaires, you are making sure your child is off to the best possible start! The information you supply will help reveal your child’s strengths, uncover any areas of concern, and determine if there are community resources
or services that may be useful for your child or your family. Once completed, you will be contacted by our office to discuss the results.
