Program Eligibility

Free and low cost programs for the uninsured

We accept most major insurances including Medicare (Medicare Advantage fee for service plans also accepted) and Medi-Cal. The following programs provide services based on income for uninsured or individuals who are underinsured.

Discounted services including medical, dental and mental health.

Free family planning services for men and women including birth control, annual gynecological exams and pap smears, screening breast exam and mammogram, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy testing and sterilization.

Provides free breast and cervical cancer screening for women, including diagnostic follow up.

Child Health and Disability Prevention Program: Free well child exams including immunizations for children up to age 19.

WCHC provides free application assistance for Medi-Cal, Covered California Exchange Plans, and CAL Fresh for our established patients as well as free application assistance for community members for Covered California Open Enrollment.

Dental Services

The Russian River and Sebastopol Dental Centers, part of West County Health Centers, offers a comprehensive dental program with services for adults and children. SCHDC accepts Medi-Cal.  In addition, we offer a sliding scale discount program for all uninsured patients and/or for services that are not covered by Medi-Cal . We do not accept any private dental insurance.  

HIV Services

Available Programs for People Living with HIV/AIDS

  • Limited exam and X-rays to diagnose the problem
  • Prescription antibiotics and pain medication
  • Tooth extractions, fillings
