Dr. Adam Francis serves as Medical Director of the Gravenstein Clinic and Chief Medical Officer of Operations. Growing up in New Mexico, one of the nation’s most economically challenged states, shaped his dedication to serving underserved communities, particularly Spanish-speaking populations. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Francis earned his medical degree and went on to complete his Family Medicine Residency at Sutter Santa Rosa.

For over a decade, Dr. Francis has established himself as a respected healthcare provider in Marin and Sonoma counties. His comprehensive approach to Family Medicine encompasses the full spectrum of care, including pediatrics, geriatrics, women’s health, preventive care, chronic disease management, and office-based procedures. This broad expertise allows him to effectively serve patients across all life stages and diverse healthcare needs.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Francis maintains a strong commitment to medical education. As a faculty member for both the Family Medicine and Nurse Practitioner Residencies in Santa Rosa, he plays a vital role in training the next generation of healthcare providers. His dedication to teaching helps ensure high-quality, culturally competent care will continue to be available in our communities.

Dr. Francis brings this wealth of clinical experience and teaching expertise to his leadership roles at West County Health Centers, where he guides both clinical operations and quality of care initiatives.
