Dr. Jason Cunningham serves as Chief Executive Officer of West County Health Centers, providing health care services to western Sonoma County communities. Under his leadership, West County Health Centers has emerged as a thought leader and innovator in reimagining primary care, centered on the belief that trusting, long-term relationships are the cornerstone of effective health care and improved health outcomes.
As CEO, Dr. Cunningham champions social equity, community collective action, and team-based care for patients facing complex medical and social challenges. His data-driven approach to innovation has transformed care delivery and organizational effectiveness. He maintains an active role in health care leadership through his participation on multiple local, regional, and state boards and committees.
A practicing Family Physician, Dr. Cunningham remains dedicated to patient care alongside his executive responsibilities. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.
