Lynea Seiberlich-Wheeler serves as the Behavioral Health Services Director at West County Health Centers, bringing nearly two decades of experience in behavioral healthcare and a passionate commitment to social justice. With a Master’s Degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley, she has dedicated her career to addressing complex healthcare challenges, particularly those facing individuals experiencing homelessness.

Her expertise in homeless healthcare services earned her a position on the Clinician’s Network Steering Committee for the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, where she served from 2019 to 2024. During this tenure, she was elected Chair of the committee and served as a member of the Board of Directors, furthering her advocacy for accessible, comprehensive healthcare services.

Since joining WCHC four years ago, Lynea has embraced her role in strengthening both the organization and the broader community. Her pragmatic approach to leadership, always considering “what is the first step” in any endeavor, has proven invaluable in developing and implementing effective behavioral health programs. Known for her energetic presence and collaborative spirit, she finds joy in connecting with both colleagues and community members.

Originally from the East Bay, Lynea maintains a balanced life outside of work by taking walks, spending quality time with family and friends, and pursuing her interest in home decor. Her dedication to social justice and community wellbeing continues to shape her work and impact at WCHC.
